Assoc. prof. M.Sc. Patrik Flegner, Ph.D. (*1978) graduated from the faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control, and Geotechnology at the Technical University of Kosice in 2002. He is the vice-president of the
SSAKI (i.e., Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics) branch office working on faculty BERG. He is an expert in signal processing, image processing, and data analysis. He aims to analyze data from measurements of rock disintegration and raw material processing. He is the author or co-author of scientific contributions in journals and proceedings from international conferences.
Assoc. prof. MSc. Ján Kačur, Ph.D. (*1981) graduated from the faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control, and Geotechnology at the Technical University of Kosice in 2004. Currently, he is a lecturer at the
Institute of Control and Informatization of Production Processes. He aims to develop advanced control algorithms and their implementation on industry automatons. In application research, he is devoted to designing optimal control systems for underground coal gasification processes. He is a member of SSAKI(i.e., Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics). He is the author or co-author of scientific contributions in journals and proceedings from international conferences.
Assoc. prof. MSc. Milan Durdán, Ph.D. (*1980) graduated from the faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control, and Geotechnology at the Technical University of Kosice in 2004. He is a lecturer at the
Institute of Control and Informatization of Production Processes. The fields of his scientific specialization are mathematical modeling and process control, heat transfer processes, systems of indirect measurement, and their application in industry production. He works within the mentioned fields in terms of theoretical but primarily algorithmic aspects regarding the possibilities of practical implementation in production. He is a member of SSAKI (i.e., Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics). He is the author or co-author of scientific contributions in journals and proceedings from international conferences.
Prof. M.Sc. Marek Laciak, Ph.D. (*1974) graduated from the faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control, and Geotechnology at the Technical University of Kosice in 1998. Currently, he is a college lecturer
at the Institute of Control and Informatization of Production Processes. His work is focused on process and system modeling, optimal process control, and proposal of indirect measurement systems in mining and metallurgy. He is the president of the SSAKI (i.e., Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics) branch office, where he works on faculty BERG. He is the author or co-author of scientific contributions in journals and proceedings from international conferences.
M.Sc. Rebecca Frančáková (*1997) graduated from the faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnology at the Technical University of Kosice in 2022. At present, she works as a doctoral student at the Institute of Control and Informatization of Production Processes. She aims to develop algorithms and implement them in industrial practice. In application research, she is devoted to measurement and signal processing. She is a member of SSAKI (i.e., Slovak Society for Applied Cybernetics and Informatics).
