Sang-Hyup Lee is a PhD candidate in materials science and engineering at Pusan National University (expected completion 2025). He is currently the general manager at SGI. His work in magnetic materials has led to three publications and 10 presentations. His research interests include the fabrication of rare-earth magnets, the manufacturing of heavy rare-earth-free magnets, and grain refinement.
Min-Suk Kang earned his BS and MS in materials science and engineering from Pukyong National University. He is currently the assistant manager at SGI. His work in magnetic materials has resulted in four publications and five presentations. His research interests include the fabrication of rare-earth magnets, the manufacturing of heavy rare-earth-free magnets, and grain refinement.
Yangdo Kim earned his BS in materials engineering from Hanyang University in February 1991, his MS in metallurgical and materials engineering from Colorado School of Mines in June 1994, and his PhD in metallurgical and materials engineering from Colorado School of Mines in December 1997.He is now professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Pusan National University.
Dong-Hwan Kim earned his PhD in materials science and engineering from Chungnam National University. He is currently the director of the Research Institute at SGI. His work on magnetic materials has led to 20 publications and 50 presentations. His research interests include Nd–Fe–B permanent magnets, magnetism, permanent magnets, the fabrication of rare-earth magnets, the manufacturing of heavy rare-earth-free magnets, and grain refinement in magnets.
