Prof. Dr. Arinthip Thamchaipenet is a Full Professor of Genetics at the Department of Genetics, Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand. She completed her Ph.D. at the Department of Genetics, University of Glasgow, UK. Her research areas are in plant microbiome, plant–microbe interaction, plant-growth promoting bacteria, endophytic actinomycetes, and drug discovery via Streptomyces genome manipulation.
Prof. Dr. Ralf Erik Wellinger is a Full Professor of Genetics at the Departamento de Genética, Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. Since 2006, he has been working as a Group Leader at the Andalusian Center of Molecular Biology and Regenerative Medicine (CABIMER). He completed his Ph.D. at the idgenoessische Technische Hochschule (ETH) in Zuerich, Switzerland, and his undergraduate studies at the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. He received various fellowships including the Ramón y Cajal, Marie-Curie and EMBO programs. His research interests lie in the area of genome stability ranging from yeast to humans.
