Prof. Sue-Joan Chang is a Professor Emeritus and Academia-Industry Research Professor at the Department of Life Sciences at National Cheng Kung University. She was a former Visiting Scholar and Visiting Professor at the College of Life and Health Sciences at the University of Delaware and The University of Tokyo. From 2015 to 2019, she served as the President of the Health Food Society of Taiwan. She was the recipient of the Outstanding Nutrition Research Award from the Nutrition Society of Taiwan, Outstanding Awards in Academic Research and Technological Development, the Special Contribution Award for Health Food Development from the Health Food Society of Taiwan, and the Best Research Award from the International Congress of Nutrition and Integrative Medicine (ICNIM 2024). Currently, she is also an associate editor of the Journal of Food and Drug Analysis.
