Prof. Jung Hoon Sung is an Associate Professor in electrophysiology at the Department of Cardiology, CHA Bundang Medical Center, CHA University. He received the MS from Yonsei University College of Medicine, Republic of Korea, in 1998, and completed his PhD studies in neuroimmunopharmacology from Korea University College of Medicine, Republic of Korea, in 2006. He was a visiting professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Emory University from USA, in 2015. His current research interests include biological pacemakers and sinus node function for biomedical applications. His research topics mainly include gene polymorphisms and coronary diseases.
Prof. Nam Keun Kim served as the head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Life Sciences, CHA University. He completed his PhD studies at the Department of Zoology, College of Natural Sciences, Seoul National University, and he received the Life Science Award from the Genetics Society of Korea and the Best Paper Award from the Korean Society for Reproductive Medicine. He has published more than 250 SCI papers. His research topics mainly include microRNA, genetics, cancer research, and molecular biology.
