Stela Dragomanova obtained her master’s degree in Pharmacy
at the Medical University of Sofia in 2004, after which she graduated in specialty
“Clinical pharmacy”. She got her Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology in the Institute of Neurobiology
at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in 2020. The research field of Stela Dragomanova
is mainly focused on neuropharmacology, and mechanisms involved in neurodegenerative
diseases. Main scientific skills: in vivo preclinical models; behavioral tests.
Stela Dragomanova is a member of the Bigarian Pharmaceutical Union, part of PGEU,
a Chairlady of Ethics Committee of Regional Pharmaceutical Collegium - Varna, Member
of the Management board of the Bulgarian Association of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology
and Therapeutics. She is a reviewer of 5+ international peer-reviewed
scientific journals. Stela Dragomanova is a co-author of 30+ publications. She was
Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2021 and she is now Ch. Assist. Prof. in
the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmacotherapy at the Medical
University of Varna, Bulgaria. She has 13 publications with 127 citations and
an h-index of 7 (Scopus, 14 December 2023) / 18 Publications in Web of Science,
115 citations and an h-index of 6 (Clarivate, 14 December 2023).
