Dr. Arif Çetin received his bachelor’s degrees in Coaching Education (Double Major) and Sports Management from Kocaeli University School of Physical Education and Sports. He obtained his MBA from Istanbul University in 2011 and completed his Ph.D. at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Business. In 2021, he received the title of Associate Professor in Sports Sciences from the Interuniversity Board. He worked as Head of International Relations, Head of Special Projects, and Head of Event Management at SPOR Istanbul, a subsidiary of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (2008–2023). In February 2023, he moved to Marmara University Faculty of Sports Sciences and was appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Sports Management. His research topics mainly include sports management, event management, and sports sciences.
