Prof. Dr. Jemmyson Romário de Jesus obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Sergipe in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He was awarded a PhD in Science with an emphasis on Analytical Chemistry from the State University of Campinas
in 2018. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry of the Universidade Federal de Viçosa. He has experience in (Bio)Analytics and Nano(Bio)technology, specifically in the areas of proteomics, metallomics (ionomic and metalloproteomics), molecular biology, sample preparation (biological and environmental), and environmental analysis. In addition, he has experience in the synthesis and characterization of materials and analytical instrumentation, especially in liquid chromatography (HPLC-DAD/UV, LC-MS) and gaseous spectrometry (GC-MS), gel electrophoresis (PAGE and DIGE), mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS), optical emission spectroscopy with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES), and
