Haitong Zhang earned both a BS in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering in 2012 and a PhD in Hydraulics and River Dynamics in 2021 from Hohai University, China. He currently holds a Lecturer position at the Institute of Disaster Prevention in China. His primary research interests encompass theoretical aspects of water-sediment transport dynamics, computational modeling for river systems, as well as the analysis and mitigation of fluvial hazards.
Lei Su is a Research Fellow at the Yellow River Institute of Hydraulic Research in China. He earned his BS in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering from the North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, China, in 2012, followed by an MS in Hydraulics and River Dynamics from Hohai University, China, in 2015. He specializes in river management and river engineering, with a focus on sustainable water resource utilization and flood control strategies.
Wenhong Dai is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Hohai University, China, and serves as a Distinguished Professor under the "Tianchi Talents" program at Xinjiang Agricultural University, China. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada. He completed his PhD studies in River and Ocean Engineering at Queen's University, Canada, in 2008. His research focuses primarily on river mechanics and fluvial processes, with additional expertise in related fields of hydraulic engineering.
