Prof. Dror Fixler is a Full Professor and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Engineering of Bar-Ilan University. He is also a member of the Nano Photonics Center and an ex-Director of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA). He received B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in physics from Bar-Ilan University, Ramat-Gan, Israel, in 1995, 1998 and 2003, respectively. His research fields mainly include fluorescence lifetime and anisotropy decay, fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM), biological imaging based on fluorescence parameters, super-resolution and light–tissue interaction.
