Prof. Alberto Gil Solla has a degree and a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Vigo. He is currently Professor at the University of Vigo, teaching in the Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. In the research aspect, he is part of the Information Society Services group, belonging to the Department of Telematics Engineering at the University of Vigo. Currently, his research interests focus in the field of intelligent systems for the personalization of applications and the automatic recommendation of content using semantic reasoning, ontologies, and information extracted from social networks, and especially Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques, fundamentally based on neural networks and attention models.
