Yao Gu is a graduate student at the College of Geomatics and Geographical Information Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. Born in February 2001 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, she is currently specializing in deep learning techniques. Yao Gu completed her undergraduate studies in Internet of Things Engineering at Baoji University of Arts and Sciences in Shaanxi Province. She has achieved several notable accomplishments, including obtaining a software copyright, winning the National Third Prize in the National College Computer Skills Challenge, and receiving the Outstanding Volunteer Award at the ChuanZhi Cup National College IT Skills Competition.
Chao Ren received his B.S. degree in Surveying Engineering from Chang’an University, Xi’an, China, in 1998. He completed his Ph.D. degree in geodesy and survey engineering from the Institute of Geodesy and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, Wuhan, China, in 2005. Now, he is a professor at Guilin University of Technology, Guilin, China. His main research interests are in modeling Global Navigation Satellite System interferometric reflectometry (GNSS-IR) and its applications in measuring surface soil moisture, snow depth. He has presided over Three National Natural Science Foundation Projects and Four Guangxi Natural Science Foundation Projects. He has published more than 80 academic papers in related fields, including more than 30 SCI and EI indexed papers.
Qin-Yi Chen is a graduate student at the College of Geomatics and Geographical Information Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. Born in August 2001 in Guilin, Guangxi, she is currently specializing in the development and analysis of elderly care and tourism. She completed her undergraduate studies in Geographic Information Science at Guilin University of Technology, where she developed a strong foundation in geospatial technologies. Her research interests focus on exploring sustainable solutions for elderly care through tourism and geographic information systems.
Hao-Ming Bai is a graduate student at the College of Geomatics and Geographical Information Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. Born in November 1998 in Suide, Shaanxi Province, he is currently focused on deep learning techniques for road extraction. Hao-Ming Bai has been recognized for his academic achievements, including winning the Third Prize in the Graduate Mathematical Modeling Competition. His research interests lie in leveraging advanced deep learning methods to improve road extraction from remote sensing data.
Zhen-Zhong Huang is a graduate student at the College of Geomatics and Geographical Information Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. Born in August 2001 in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, he is currently focused on deep learning for road extraction. Zhen-Zhong Huang is pursuing advanced research in applying deep learning techniques to improve road extraction processes from satellite and aerial imagery. His academic interests are centered around the development of novel algorithms and methodologies in the field of geospatial information engineering.
Lei Zou is a graduate student at the College of Geomatics and Geographical Information Engineering, Guilin University of Technology. His research focuses on wildfire monitoring and prevention. Lei Zou is dedicated to developing advanced techniques and solutions for detecting and managing wildfires through geospatial technologies and data analysis. His work aims to improve early warning systems and contribute to effective wildfire management strategies.
