Dr. Miriam Barrecheguren is a Pneumologist at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. She completed her Ph.D. studies in Diagnosis and Management of COPD and AATD in Primary Care in 2016. She pursued a research fellowship at McGill University and later received a Rio Hortega grant to continue her work in Barcelona. She also serves as the Early Career representative for the European Respiratory Society (ERS) in the European Alpha-1 research collaboration (EARCO).
