Prof. Dr. Carlos Romero-Morales is an associate professor at the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Sport Sciences, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Villaviciosa de Odón, Spain. He obtained his doctorate from the European University of Madrid in 2014. In addition, he is a director of the Physiotherapy in Motion Research Group, a co-director of the UEM Research Chair—CEMTRO Clinic, a coordinator of the PhD program in biomedicine and health sciences, and a participant in numerous research projects as principal investigator and collaborating researcher.
Jorge Hugo Villafañe obtained his PhD from Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain in 2012 and was awarded the "Premio Extraordinario" in 2014. He earned a master's degree in manual therapy from the European University of Madrid in 2009 and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and physiotherapy from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, in 2001. He is currently a professor at the European University of Madrid, Spain. His commitment to advancing knowledge and excellence in medical science is reflected in his active participation in numerous clinical studies, particularly in the management of musculoskeletal disorders. Recognized as a Knight of the Royal Maestranza of Cavalry of Castile, Spain, in his noble capacity.With over 274 scientific publications, he has received several recognitions, including the "Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale" (ASN) in Italy in 2017 and funding from the Italian Ministry of Health as "Principal Investigator" in 2015. Additionally, in 2017 he obtained funding from the Horizon 2020 program as a partner, and in 2018 he was awarded the John H. Moe Award for Best Basic Research Poster in Bologna, Italy.
