Prof. Dr. Wenbin Shen teaches at the Department of Geophysics, School of Geodesy and Geomatics at Wuhan University. In 1982, 1985 and 1996 he obtained BS, MS at Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping (China), and PhD at Graz Technical University (Austria), respectively. He is
very active in international scientific meetings. As LOC chair, he organized around 10 international workshops. He led or leads 8 NSFC projects, took/takes part in around 10 national projects, and has more than 200 publications (including presentations at various meetings). His research interests include:
Gravity theory and applications; temporal gravity fields; Earth rotation and global change; Earth’s free oscillation; Relativistic geodesy and GNSS applications.
