Author Biographies

Dr. Marie Dunnion is a Chartered Psychologist with Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees, all incorporating the study of psychology. Marie’s PhD, in the area of Business Psychology, focused on a form of unethical work behaviour known as 'organisational charlatanism' or 'false performance.' She was awarded her PhD at the University of Worcester, where she is now an Associate Lecturer in Business Psychology BSc (Hons). Marie mainly works at the University of Birmingham, where she has held positions with the IMPACT Centre (IMPACT Facilitator) and the Cerebra Network for Neurodevelopmental Disorders (Impact Lead). At the Cerebra Network, Marie will be commencing a Research Fellowship in 2024 on a project titled, ‘Delivering National and International Impact on Practice for the Cerebra Network.’ Since becoming a parent carer to a young autistic child, Marie’s research interests have increasingly included neurodiversity. Drawing on her lived experience, she is currently working with Herefordshire and Worcestershire NHS on a project which aims to design sensory-friendly environments for autistic patients in GP surgeries. As well as links to healthcare and a demonstrated work history in higher education, Marie has also worked for charitable organisations and in trade union/professional association environments. She also has experience of being self-employed and applying entrepreneurial skills. Marie is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol).
Gbolahan Gbadamosi is affiliated with the Bournemouth University Business School as a Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (HRM) with decades of international teaching and research experience. He is the research lead in his academic department (People and Organisations) and leads on the Inclusivity in Organisations and Society research theme. He is an academic Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). His diverse background, spanning five countries and the UNDP, has equipped him with a broad perspective on research. His interest in a multi-methods research approach is evident in his use of a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods. His current research interests focus on diversity and Inclusion, unethical work practices, well-being, and work–life balance.
