Dr. Marko Topalovic earned his B.S. from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kragujevac in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2016. He worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Applied Mechanics and Automatic Control from 2011 to 2019. He is currently a Research Associate at the Institute for Information Technologies at the University of Kragujevac. His research interests include Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH), the Discrete Element Method (DEM), the Finite Element Method (FEM), granular materials, numerical analysis, software development, and engineering education.
