Prof. Dr. Chunlong Nie is an associate professor at the School of Civil Engineering, University of South China. He is currently the director of the Basic Civil Engineering Teaching and Research Section and the Director of the Engineering Project Management Research Office at the School of Urban Construction, University of South China. In 1997, he received a bachelor's degree in construction engineering economics from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics, and in 2005, he received a master's degree in mining engineering from the University of South China. In 2012, he received a doctorate in civil engineering from the School of Civil Engineering, at Central South University. From 1997 to 2000, he worked in the Infrastructure Department of Beijing Hangxing Machinery Manufacturing Company. From 2002 to the present, he has been working at the University of South China. In addition, he is also a reviewer for the Journal of the University of South China (Natural Science Edition). His main research directions include engineering project management and risk assessment.
