Prof. Lixin Zhang received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Machinery Design and Manufacturing from Xinjiang Agricultural University, Ürümqi, China, in 1990, a master’s degree in Agricultural Mechanization Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2000, and a Ph.D. in Mechatronics from Xi’an University of Technology, Xi’an, China, in 2009. He is currently a Professor at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Shihezi University, Shihezi, China, and is mainly engaged in the research of electromechanical equipment automation systems, the Internet of Things, the online testing of energy equipment, and photovoltaic agriculture.
