Dr. Danguang Pan obtained his bachelor's degree from the School of Architecture and Engineering at Wuhan University from September 1993 to 1997; his Master's degree is from the School of Architecture and Engineering at Wuhan University from September 1997 to March 2000, and his doctoral degree from the Institute of Structural Engineering and Disaster Prevention at the
School of Civil Engineering at Tongji University from March 2000 to August 2003. From August 2003 to July 2005, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Disaster Prevention and Reduction in the Department of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University. From July 2005 to July 2006, he worked as a lecturer at Beijing University of Science and Technology. From July 2006 to July 2012, he served as an associate researcher at Beijing University of Science and Technology. From July 2012 to present, he has been a professor at Beijing University of Science and Technology. From July 2013 to present, he has been a doctoral supervisor at Beijing University of Science and Technology. His research direction is soil structure interaction analysis; intelligent detection and monitoring of civil engineering structures; structural seismic resistance; and complex structural construction mechanics.
