María del P. Pablo-Romero is a Ph.D. in Economics and a Full Professor in Applied Economics at the Seville University (US). She is a research member at the Institute of Economics and Business in the US. She is a member of the Chair of Energy and Environmental Economics as the researcher in charge of the area of Energy and Economic Growth. Her main research lines focus on the relationships between energy and economic growth. Among them, those related to the Energy–Environmental Kuznets Curve and production functions extended with energy. She won the University Award for the best academic performance and the award for the best thesis by the Focus-Abengoa Foundation. Due to the worldwide research influence in the energy field, since 2020, she has appeared in the Stanford ranking.
Antonio Sánchez-Braza is a Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Seville (US). His main publications are related to energy economics and environmental policies, and he participates in numerous research projects on this topic. He is a member of the Chair of Energy Economics and Environment. He has supervised three doctoral theses and is currently supervising another two. He has extensive experience in managing energy balance databases and econometric techniques.
