Ahmed Baha Eddine Aichouni earned his Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia in 2021 and is pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He previously worked as a Business Excellence Specialist at Hail Cement Company in Saudi Arabia from 2018 to 2019. In 2022, he joined the University of Coimbra as a Research Collaborator at the Centre for Mechanical Engineering, Materials, and Processes. His research focuses on Total Quality Management, Industry 4.0 technologies, and sustainability performance.
Prof. Dr. Luis Miguel D. F. Ferreira is a Professor of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Coimbra. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994 from the University of Coimbra Faculty of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree in Operations Research and Systems Engineering in 1997 from Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico, and a PhD in Systems Engineering in 2005 from the Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico. Before joining the University of Coimbra, he worked at the Department of Economics Management and Industrial Engineering, University of Aveiro, from 2005 to 2016. His research mainly focuses on Supply Management and Supply Chain Management.
