Fuwei Pi is a professor at the School of Food Science and Technology, Jiangnan University. He received a BS from Henan Agricultural University in 2005, an MS from China Agricultural University in 2007, and a PhD from Kwansei Gakuin University in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the CNRS-UMR7325. In 2018, he won the first prize of the Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Progress Award. In 2019, he was selected as a key support in Shandong Province to introduce urgently needed talents.To date, he has published 105 research papers in important academic journals at home and abroad, including Advanced Functional Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, Nano Letters, Food Chemistry, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Food Bioscience and other top journals. His paper has been recommended by the Faculty of 1000 (F1000). His research interests are (1) the development and application of spectral analysis technology; (2) the development of special and special functional foods (formulas); (3) the regulation of immune cells and nutritional safety evaluation of functional factors; (4) Intelligent detection and the prevention and control of food hazard factors.
