Prof. Joo-Ho Choi is a Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the Center for Reliability Engineering in the Mechanical and Aerospace Industry, Korea Aerospace University. He holds a Ph.D. at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He is also a Member of the Korea Society of Mechanical Engineers, Korea CAD/CAM Institute, Korea Society for Precision Engineering, etc. In 2020, he won the Distinguished Leadership Award from the Korean Society for PHM. His research interests include prognostics and health management; Remaining Useful Life; Failure Threshold; anomaly detection; Current Cycles; Extended Kalman Filters; Kalman filters; Long Short-Term Memory; measurement noise; Particle Filter; Prediction Intervals; Process Noise; and machine learning.
