Dr. Raphael B. Jumbo is a Lecturer of Engineering Management in the School of Engineering at the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK. Before joining UWE Bristol, he was a Lecturer at Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, and later a Researcher at Cranfield University, Cranfield, Uk. Dr. Jumbo obtained his B.S. in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology in 2008, M.S. in Environmental Engineering Technology from the University of Port Harcourt in 2015, M.S. in Soil and Water Engineering from the Rivers State from the University of Science and Technology in 2018, and his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Technology from Cranfield University in 2023. His research interests include soils and wetlands remediation and management, water and wastewater engineering and management, bioengineering and sustainable green engineering, contaminants monitoring and management, soil-structure interaction, greenhouse gas monitoring and sustainable NetZero strategies, biodiversity restoration, and interdisciplinary research aimed at addressing key environmental challenges faced by the environment, engineering and engineering management industries.

Prof. Dr. Colin Booth obtained his B.Sc. from Kingston University in 1991, his M.Sc. from the University of Reading in 1993, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wolverhampton in 2002. He is a Professor of Smart and Sustainable Infrastructures and a Chartered Construction Manager based in the School of Engineering at UWE, Bristol. He was the Associate Head for Research and Scholarship in the School of Architecture and Environment (2012–2023), plus Director of the Construction and Property Research Centre, and a Director of the Centre for Floods, Communities and Resilience at UWE, Bristol. He also served as an educator and academic leader for many years before joining UWE. He was the Senior Research Leader in a School of Built Environment, a Reader in Construction Management, a Reader in Civil Engineering, an Overseas Tutor (Hong Kong), a Senior Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering, a Research Project Manager (European Commission) and he also held several Post-doctoral Research Fellowship posts (inc. Leverhulme). His areas of expertise include Sustainability in the built environment; Environmental management (ISO14001) in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sectors; Sustainable supply chains (BES6001); Flooding and Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS); Climate change adaptation strategies; Built environment studies; and Urban pollution.

Dr. Samuel Abbey is an Associate Professor of Geotechnical Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure with an excellent track record of high-quality research. He is the Associate Director of Engineering Practice and Management at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), and currently leads the strategic development and operational management of programmes. He joined UWE Bristol in 2018 as a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering where he was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in recognition of his established records in research with impact and proven records of academic leadership. Prior to joining the University of the West of England, he worked as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering at the University of South Wales, from 2017–2018, and as an Associate Lecturer in Civil Engineering at Coventry University from 2014–2017. He holds a PhD and MSc in Civil Engineering from Coventry University, Warwickshire, UK, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. His research interests include civil and geo-environmental engineering, ground improvement, soil-structure interaction, transportation geotechnics, and interdisciplinary research aimed at addressing key geo-infrastructural challenges. Combining his skillset as an educator, scientist, and engineer has given him a unique opportunity to understand and lead his academic discipline.
