Prof. Dr. Chao Yang is a Professor, president of the School of Aeronautics Science and Technology of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) and director of the Aeroelasticity Research Lab of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA). He received his PhD degree in Flight Dynamics from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA). His main research fields are aeroelasticity, flight dynamics, and flight vehicle design, including fixed-wing aircraft, missiles, and helicopters. Now, his researches include the theory, calculation method, test method, and technology about flutter, flight load, aseroservoelasticity, flight dynamics, active aeroelastic wing, aeroelastic tailoring design, active control technology, etc.
