Alexandra Christine Helena Frankland Sawaya is
currently a professor in the Pharmacy Course at the State University of
Campinas, Campinas, Brazil. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Universidade
Estadual de Campinas (2006). She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the
Department of Plant Biology (Instituto de Biologia Unicamp) between 2008 and 2013,
and a second postdoctoral fellowship in plant metabolomics at the Swedish
University of Agricultural Sciences (2019). She worked as a professor at UNIBAN
on the Pharmacy and Biomedicine Courses (2006–2008) and on the Professional
Master’s Degree in Pharmacy. She has experience in the area of mass
spectrometry and chromatography in studies of bee products, food, medicinal
plants, and phytotherapeutics.
