Dr. Srđan Rončević graduated in Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, Novi Sad, in 1999, received an MSc degree in 2002, and defended his doctoral thesis in 2007. He was appointed Full Professor in 2017 in the field of Chemical Technology. He was Assistant Director at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Environmental Protection from 2010 to 2015, he has been a member of the Teaching and Scientific Council of the Faculty of Sciences since 2009, a coordinator of bachelor academic studies of Chemistry—Quality Control and Environment Management since 2013, he was a managing coordinator of the accredited Laboratory for Chemical Research of Environmental Protection “Assistant Professor dr Milena Dalmacija” (2009–2012, 2014–2015), he has been a member of the Expert Council for Sciences and Mathematics of the Provincial Secretariat of Science and Technological Development since 2008, a member of the Commission QS Ch047—Chemistry, Institute for Standardization of Serbia since 2012, and the Vice President of the Board for Integrated Research and International Cooperation of the Senate, the University of Novi Sad since 2015, etc.
Dr. Jasmina Agbaba is a full professor at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences, Serbia. Her expertise in chemistry and environmental protection technology includes water quality, water treatment processes, and chemical pollution-related risk assessment. She has led multiple national and international projects both for academia and industry, including pilot-scale investigations in drinking water treatment and groundwater remediation technology.
