Dingxue Zhang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in petroleum engineering from Jianghan Petroleum Institute, Jingzhou, China, in 1998 and 2003, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in control engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2007. From July 1998 to September 2000, he worked in the First Oil Production Plant of the Changqing Oilfield Branch of PetroChina as an oil production engineering technician. Since December 2007, he has worked in the Department of Oil and Gas Field Industrial Development Engineering, School of Petroleum Engineering, Yangtze University, and has been engaged in teaching and scientific research. He is currently an Associate Professor at Yangtze University, Jingzhou. His current research interests include multiagent networks, oil production systems, and complex networks.
