Elisa Ravazzoli holds a Ph.D. in Economics Policy and Culture of the Territory from the University of Bologna and an MA in Geography and Territorial Processes from the same university. She is Vice Head of Center of the Center for Climate Change and Transformation and the Research Group Leader of the Institute for Regional Development. She has been coordinating the research group “Space and Society” since 2018. Her research focuses on different topics related to human, regional, and spatial geography, including population dynamics; socio-spatial transformations; regional spatial disparities; urban–rural divide; and social innovation.
Paola Gatto (BSc in Forest Sciences, University, of Padova, 1985; MPhil in Agricultural Economics, University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), 1992; Ph.D. in Forestry Economics and Planning, University of Florence, 1992) is currently a full professor in Forest Economics and Policy at the Department TESAF, University of Padova, Italy. Her current research activities focus on policy instruments to support the provision of environmental goods and services, payments for ecosystem services, market for wood products, property rights in forest resources, commons, and community forests. She has participated in more than 50 research projects and has authored more than 150 scientific publications.
