Prof. Dr. Qingyu Zhang received his B.A. degree in Economics, B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering, and M.E. degree in Management Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1993, and his Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Management and Engineering from the University of Toledo, Toledo, OH, USA, in 2001. He was a tenured Professor at Arkansas State University and is currently a Professor of Operations Management and the Director of the Research Institute of Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. He is also a Distinguished Professor under the Pearl River Scholar program. Additionally, he is certified as a CFPIM fellow by APICS and holds MCSE and MCSD certifications from Microsoft. He was the recipient of the Jack Meredith Best Paper Award from the Journal of Operations Management in 2016.
