Andrei Grib has been a University Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, the Discipline of Cardiology, the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" from Chisinau, the Republic of Moldova, since 2019. He has been a member of the Association of Cardiologists of Moldova (ACM) since 2014 and joined the European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) in 2015. In 2018, he co-founded the Society of Interventional Cardiology and Radiology of the Republic of Moldova (SCRIM).
Dr. Andrei Grib is deeply involved in advisory activities, especially since 2018, as a member of the Expert Commission for Modernization and Equivalence of Postgraduate Courses in Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Surgery. Since 2020, he has also actively participated in scientific seminars, especially in the field of internal medicine and cardiology at USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu".
He is currently conducting a PhD study on “Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Elderly Patients with Multivessel Disease” with the aim of evaluating the benefits and outcomes of fractional flow reserve-guided PCI in elderly patients (≥65 years) with multivessel coronary disease compared with angiographic guidance.
Position: Dean of the Residency Faculty at Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) in the Republic of Moldova and University Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine. Main Activities and Responsibilities: University Professor and Head of the Cardiology Clinic/University Division, Department of Cardiology, Municipal Clinical Hospital “Sfânta Treime” (3 cardiology departments, 1 functional diagnostic department, 6 cardiovascular intensive care unit beds and Department of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology).
