Dr. Roberto Passera is the Head of the Radiochemistry Unit at San Giovanni Battista University Hospital, Torino, Italy. He graduated as a Clinical Pharmacologist in 1992 and received his PhD in clinical pharmacokinetics in 2003 from Torino University, after being trained at both Karolinska Institute and the University of Southern California. After spending several years at a veterinary drug company, he completed a master’s degree in biostatistics and clinical epidemiology at Pavia University, after which he moved to the Nuclear Medicine Department at Torino University Hospital. His research interests focus on cancer clinical epidemiology and biostatistics, systematic reviews and meta-analyses in surgical oncology, chemo- and immunochemotherapy regimens in onco-hematology, new biomarkers for prostate cancer, and pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic trials in oncology. He is currently a member of the MDPI editorial boards of Cancers (Cancer Drug Development Section) and Diagnostics (Medical Imaging and Theragnostic Section)
