Dr. Elma Marais is an Associate Professor at the North-West University. She received her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees at North-West University in 2009, 2011, and 2014, respectively. From February 2016 to December 2017, she undertook her postdoctoral training in Higher Education at Rhodes University. Her research focuses on integrating technology in the classroom, teaching with technologies and play-based pedagogies with the integration of LEGO® SIX Bricks® in the South African context. She has published several papers and led several post graduate studies.
