Dr. Alberto Bermejo-Cantarero received his degree in nursing from the University of Castilla-La Mancha in 2002. He completed his PhD studies in social healthcare research at the University of Castilla-La Mancha. He worked as scrub nurse at Ciudad Real General University Hospital (2006–2023). After 6 years as an associate professor, in 2023, he was promoted to assistant professor at the School of Nursing of Ciudad Real, University of Castilla-La Mancha. He has published 11 papers in various journals, and serves as a investigator for quality of life and physical activity research projects. His research topics mainly include clinical simulation, interprofessional education, health-related quality of life, physical activity, and fitness.
