Dr. Sirajudheen is a Fisheries Specialist at the KAUST Beacon Department, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia. He completed his PhD studies in fish taxonomy at the University of Kerala, India, and has been awarded Second Rank in Master, a Research Fellowship of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment, India, and three best paper awards. He was recently involved in Fisheries stock assessment projects in the Red Sea. He has published 21 papers in various journals and serves as a lifetime member of the Association of Fisheries Graduates, India. His/her teaching disciplines and research interests include fisheries, marine biodiversity, fish taxonomy, and aquaculture.
