Zeng Zhi is a senior engineer at the Third Institute of Oceanography, Ministry of Natural Resources. With degrees from Wuhan University and Xiamen University, he has dedicated over two decades to researching coastal, estuarine, and harbor environmental dynamics. His primary research interests encompass the investigation and analysis of marine hydrology, sediment, and other environmental factors in marine engineering projects. He is proficient in developing ocean numerical models for tidal currents, sediment transport, wave dynamics, thermal discharge, oil spills, and the diffusion of other environmental pollutants. Additionally, Zeng Zhi has contributed to the field of marine hydrological observation through the application of artificial intelligence and computer vision models, including high-definition video monitoring of tides, waves, and currents.
