Prof. Claire Migliaccio is a professor at the Université Côte d'Azur. She obtained her engineering degree in 1993 and her PhD in 1996 from the Institut National des Sciences Po in Grenoble, France. Subsequently, Prof. Claire Migliaccio was appointed an assistant professor at the University of Côte d'Azur and became a professor there in 2007. Since 2012, she has held several leadership positions at the university, national and international levels, including the Director of the IT Doctoral School (2017–2022), founder and chair of the IEEE AP-S DEIB committee, founder and Chair of the IEEE A-S Mojgan Daneshmand Grant for women, Track Editor of IEEE TAP (2017–2022), Associate Editor of IEEE TAP (2016–2017), of IEEE TRS since 2022 and AP Magazine starting on 1 January 2024, etc. Prof. Claire Migliaccio's research interests range from microwave to millimeter-wave systems for radar and imaging applications, including antenna design, measurements and imaging techniques. She has co-authored more than 100 scientific contributions. Her main achievements deal with millimeter-wave radar for rescue helicopters or FOD detection and millimeter-wave scanners for security, food safety and archaeological applications.
