Amin Amini graduated with a BSc (Hons) with Professional Development degree in Computer Science: Network Computing followed by a MSc degree in Data Communication Networks from Brunel University, London. He also holds a PhD from Brunel University, London, in Electronic and Computer Engineering, where he researched on using 3D sensing and projecting technology to improve the mobility of Parkinson's disease patients. He finished his postdoctoral research at Brunel Innovation Centre in advanced AI. He is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Module Leader for Computational Thinking at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). He is a computer scientist with over 10 years of academic research. He holds several accreditations from leading IT industries including Microsoft and Cisco. He has published several journals and conferences in the field of computer vision, machine learning, AI, healthcare, and biomedical engineering. He is also an academic reviewer for the Nature, Sensors, IET, and IEEE journals as well as a member of editorial board for The Journal of Rehabilitation Research.
