Xinming Wang is a researcher at Guangzhou
Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received a BS from
the University of Science and Technology of China in 1991, an MS, and a PhD
from the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in
1994 and 1997 respectively. He worked as a Visiting Scientist at the University
of California (2002), a Senior Visiting Scientist at Max Plack Insitute for
Chemistry (2006-2007), an Invited Visiting Professor at ICARE/CNRS (2010), and a
Senior Visiting Professor at CNRS Lyon Institute for Environmental Catalysis
(2015). He is the third author of Progress in Geochemistry (Chemical Industry
Press) and holds 19 patents. His research interests include volatile organic
compounds and their atmospheric secondary products, trace gas ground-air
exchange, organic aerosols and their climate and environmental effects.
