Dr. Amit Kumar Mishra is a professor in telecommunications and director of the National Spectrum Centre, Aberystwyth University, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh in 2006. From December 2006 to April 2011, he was an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE) Department, IIT Guwahati, India. From 31 May 2010 to 30 November 2010, he was an Endeavour Fellow at the RSISE, Australian National University. In April 2011, he joined the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Cape Town, South Africa. Since March 2024, he has been a professor in telecommunications at Aberystwyth University. He has been awarded the IETE-IRSI (83) Young Scientist Award in 2008 and the VAJRA Faculty Award from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, in 2020. He is a member of the South African URSI Commission (F Member (Wave Propagation & Remote Sensing)). His research interests include radar and radio system design, applied machine learning, cognitive engineering, and engineering to solve development goals.
Dr. Badri Narayan Subudhi is an Associate professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, Jammu, India. He received a B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Bijupatnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, India, and an M.Tech. degree in Electronics System & Communication from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, during 2008–2009, and the Ph.D. degree from the Machine Intelligence Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he was an Assistant Professor with the National Institute of Technology, Goa, India. In 2017, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Member of IUPRAI, a Member of ACM, and a Member of APNNS. His research interests include video processing, image processing, machine learning, pattern recognition, and remote sensing image analysis.
