Prof. Dr. Baojun Lin is a Chief Designer of Beidou’s third-generation satellite and a Doctoral Supervisor at the Innovation Academy for Microsatellites, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. at the Jilin University of Technology in 1991. He worked as a Vice President at rgw Innovation Academy for Microsatellites of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from November 2018 to February 2023. Moreover, he has has been awarded the National Science and Technology Progress Special Award for China’s manned spaceflight project and the honorary title of outstanding contributor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to China’s manned spaceflight project. His research topics mainly include Computer Control and Application, Space Technology, Satellite Systems and Space Application Systems.
