Laura Gisbert-Ferrándiz earned her BS in Pharmacy (2015) from Universidad Miguel Hernández (Alicante), followed by her Master’s in Biomedical Research (2015) and her PhD in Biomedicine and Pharmacy (2020) from Universitat de València (Valencia). Throughout her education, she received several academic awards recognizing her outstanding achievements. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Pharmacology at Universitat de València. Her research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and vitamin D, exploring their roles in immune modulation and disease progression. Her work has led to multiple peer-reviewed publications, presentations at national and international conferences, and her doctoral thesis. She has actively participated in several projects, contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies in IBD and advancing the understanding of vitamin D's impact on inflammatory processes.
