Prof. Dr. Honggui Deng received a B.Sc. degree from Shaoyang Teachers College in 1989, an M.Sc. degree from East China Normal University in 1997, and a Ph.D. degree from Central South University in 2005. He is the Vice Dean and a Professor at the School of Electronic Information at Central South University (Changsha, China). His research interests mainly focus on Image processing technologies, intelligent instrumentation, and 6G wireless mobile communications. He is the Director of the China Institute of Communications and the Executive Director of the Hunan Instrument and Meter Society.
Prof. Fuxin Xu graduated from the National University of Defense Technology with a Bachelor's degree in applied physics in 1987, and graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a Master's degree in theoretical physics in 1990. He visited the University of Manchester Institute of Technology (UMIST) in the UK in 2002. In 2003, he was selected as a key young teacher in the Hunan Province. He is currently the vice dean of the School of Physics and Electronics of Central South University, a member of the University Physics Course Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, an executive director of the Experimental Physics Teaching Research Association of Chinese Universities, an executive director of the Hunan Physics Society, and an executive director of the Hunan Instrument Society. He has been engaged in physics teaching and scientific research for a long time, and mainly teaches undergraduate courses such as university physics, general physics experiments, modern physics experiments, modern physics experimental methods, field theory, and graduate courses such as quantum mechanics, laser principles, and semiconductor optoelectronics. His research areas include photoelectric detection, virtual instrument technology, image processing and machine vision, and intelligent instruments.
