Dr. María Elizbeth Álvarez-Sánchez is currently the Coordinator of the Master's and Doctorate in Genomic Sciences. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacological Chemist and a Master's and Doctorate in the Department of Experimental Pathology of CINVESTAV-IPN. She carried out postdoctoral studies in the Department of Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at the Biomedical Research Institute of UNAM. She began as a Professor-Researcher in 2004 in the Postgraduate Program in Genomic Sciences at the Autonomous University of Mexico City. She has published 3 books and 13 book chapters. She has 60 published articles. As a result of her research, she has 4 patents (2 national and 2 international for diagnosing male trichomoniasis). She has participated in 55 national conferences and 8 international conferences.
