Xicang Zhao is a professor at the School of Business
Administration at Jiangsu University. He was a visiting scholar at the
University of Strasbourg, France (2006.09–2007.09), and studied at the
University of Grenoble, France (2015.06–2015.09). He is also a director of the
China Science and Technology Indicators Research Association, vice president of
the Jiangsu Statistical Society, and the head of the “Innovation Economic
Development and Evaluation Research Center” (cultivation site), a key research
base of philosophy and social sciences in Jiangsu universities. He presided
over three National Philosophy and Social Science Fund projects and over twenty
projects such as the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund
projects. The research results he presided over won two second prizes and one
third prize for outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences
research in Jiangsu Province, three second prizes and one third prize for
outstanding achievements in statistics research in the country, one first prize
for science and technology innovation in the service industry of the China
General Chamber of Commerce, and many awards at the municipal and departmental
levels. His research fields include science and technology statistics, national
economic statistics, and regional economic management.
