Manon Laporte holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from KU
Leuven and is currently the Research Manager of the Virology, Antiviral Drug
& Vaccine Research Group at Rega Institute for Medical Research. Prior to
this, Manon Laporte was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Garcia-Sastre Laboratory, Icahn
School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Department of Microbiology (2021–2022) and a Postdoctoral
Scientist at Rega Institute for Medical Research (2020–2021). Manon Laporte’s
research keywords include Antiviral drug discovery, phenotypic HTS, SARS-CoV-2,
Cedar virus, Fusion, Entry, Cleavage, Influenza A and B, and Hemagglutinin.
