Sebastián Tapia received his Master's in Engineering Sciences, with a minor in Applied Mathematics from the University of Chile in 2024, and is now starting a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Lille. He has worked as Research Assistant at University of Chile from 2023 until today. In 2023, he worked on his degree work in traffic wave collision simulation. In 2024, he participated in an internship on soliton collisions in the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation at University of Lille. He is currently working as a Research Assistant on multibouncing in NLS quintic equations and on implementing large language models (LLMs) for correction of educational exercises for children. His research topics mainly include education, LLMs, prompting techniques, PDE numerical simulation, the non-linear Schrödinger equation, and collisions.
