Author Biographies

Dr. Magdalena Urbańska graduated in 2004 from the Radom University of Technology obtaining the title of M.Sc. with honors. In October 2005, she started doctoral studies at the Military University of Technology, which she completed in 2009. In 2008, she completed a two-year Postgraduate Pedagogical Study at the Warsaw University of Technology with excellent results. In October 2009, she started working as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute of Chemistry at the Military University of Technology. In 2010, she defended her doctoral thesis with honors and obtained a PhD in chemical sciences. From October 2010 to September 2023, she conducted research and teaching activities at the Institute of Chemistry as a research and teaching assistant professor (after the changes of research and teaching assistant professor). Since January 2021, he has been the Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemistry of the Military University of Technology. In October 2023, she was transferred to the position of university professor in the group of research and teaching staff.

Dr. Michał Czerwiński is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Chemistry, Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. He obtained his PhD from the Faculty of New Technologies and Chemistry (WTC) in 2014. His research interests span a broad number of topics, with a focus on the chemistry and physics of self-organized organic materials, with strong influences from chemical engineering and application aspects. His research group is largely known for providing hypothesis-driven approaches for the design and development of new self-assembling organic materials with defined physicochemical properties for applications in photonic transducers operating in various ranges of electromagnetic radiation.
