Prof. Howuk Kim is an assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Inha University. He completed his PhD studies in Mechanical engineering at North Carolina State University. His research interests include smart actuators for active/passive vibration control, ultrasound transducers for biomedical applications, mid-air haptic ultrasound, advanced signal processing for sound/noise control, and structural health monitoring for microelectronic devices.
